Everything is now good in Sergio’s world. He has been playing on the PGA tour/(and European) for many years, with as much talent as anyone; only to go majorless, until now. Finally, Sergio Garcia is a major Champion, a champion of the elitist of all, “The Masters”.
All is great in Sergio’s world. He is to marry a beautiful Texan. He is in love. He plays the game he loves, and now has one of the championships that has always alluded him. If an American was not to win, I wanted Sergio to win. His expression of happiness on the 18th green (the first playoff hole), will be a classical moment in sports. Sergio did this on what would have been the 60th birthday of his hero, fellow countryman (Spain) Seve Ballesteros. Touche to Justin Rose, a great sport.
