Wow, I almost felt sorry for Biden’s press punching bag. That is the position Biden has put this poor incompetently overwhelmed press side kick. She has no answers to cover for her boss. She can not even look any of the reporters in eyes. That would be asking a lot of her……..Joe!
All this poor girl could say was “The President took classified documents very seriously!” NO HE DOESN’T, IF HE DID THEY WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN IN HIS GARAGE, SOMETIMES IN PUBLIC VIEW WHEN THE DOOR WAS OPEN AND JOE PULLED OUT AND BACKED IN SHOWING OFF HIS CAR (AND APPARENTLY DOCUMENTS). Oh and his partner in crime Hunter had access to that garage/residence. You know the guy(s) that have CHINA connections. Not to mention, PennBiden’s little dive which often open to friends and campaign staffers and who knows how many Chinese (Donors).
Inadvertently misplaced classified documents? Look what happened to Tricky Dick Nixon when he inadvertently lost a few seconds of tape. Nixon did nothing compared to the crap/corruption Biden is caught up in. He is in quicksand. Evidence of treason is right around the corner!
So how does Hillary, Obama, Biden, and their goons who carried out the spying (FBI, Comey) escape! Because this group of corruption is the core of the Deep State! Still at it!
Case
The Watergate scandal began after President Richard Nixon started an investigative team in his administration known as the “Plumbers.” The Plumbers’ first purpose was to stop the information leaking in the White House after the release of the Pentagon Papers. They were funded by secret campaign contributions to the Committee to Reelect the President or CREEP. The Plumbers conducted many off-the-book activities like harassing political enemies and protestors outside of Republican events. The actions of the Plumbers hit a boiling point when top administration officials were implicated in the burglary of the Democratic Party’s headquarters at the Watergate Hotel in 1972.
A select Senate committee investigated the break-in. The Committee learned that Nixon taped his White House meetings. When Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox tried to obtain these tapes, Nixon ordered Attorney General Elliot Richardson to fire Cox. When Richardson and his deputy refused, Nixon fired them both in what came to be known as the Saturday Night Massacre. Afterward, Nixon turned over nine tapes, but one had a near twenty-minute gap. This gap was deliberate. In response to Nixon’s actions, the House Judiciary Committee began an impeachment inquiry and new Special Prosecutor Leon Jaworski demanded the missing time gap and more tapes.
President Nixon refused to turn over the rest of the tapes, claiming executive privilege. Executive privilege is the right of the executive branch to withhold information to preserve confidentiality and maintain national security. The Court had to solve two issues, one of which was the separation of power allegations from the Nixon administration, which claimed the courts had no right to investigate the President. The other was Article II claims about broad executive privilege. The Supreme Court had to determine how to balance executive privilege with judicial review, the ability of the courts to decide the constitutionality of actions of the other two branches.
Decision
In a unanimous decision, the Court ruled that the separation of powers claims and executive privilege claims did not withstand. While the Court acknowledged executive privilege, they stressed that it is limited and that due process is most vital. The President was told to produce the tapes. Justice Warren Burger authored the opinion for the Court writing, “The generalized assertion of privilege must yield to the demonstrated, specific need for evidence in a pending criminal trial.” Justice Rehnquist removed himself from the case since he had previously been involved in the Nixon administration.
Impact
The Supreme Court’s decision was fatal to Nixon’s Presidency. He was forced to release the tapes and the time missing showed that the President had conspired to give millions to the Watergate Hotel burglars and wanted to claim “national security” reasons for the break-in. Nixon’s former Attorney General, John Mitchell, orchestrated the Watergate break-in. It was discovered that Nixon’s chief of staff, H.R. Haldeman, wanted to use the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) for political espionage.
After discovering this information, Nixon’s previous Republican allies told him to resign or risk impeachment. Nixon resigned from office on August 8, 1974. The Supreme Court decision had unusually dramatic consequences but it also was innovative as it combined claims of executive privilege and a criminal proceeding. The decision sent a message to future leaders of the United States that the president is not above the law, and cannot claim privilege when there is a reasonable suspicion they are acting unlawfully.
In 1977, President Nixon lost another Supreme Court case in Nixon v Administrator of General Services. The Supreme Court held that the former president could not assert privilege to keep all of his papers from his presidency private. However, in Nixon v Fitzgerald (1982), the Supreme Court defended Nixon against an analyst who claimed he had been fired illegally. The Court held that the President had absolute immunity to act within the functions of his office. 4SC
I don’t even know how to complete the above headline. After receiving my B.A. Degree with a major in Political Science in 1974, I took the Law Schools Admissions test. I do not remember what my score was from that beautiful Spring day, though it was long and wasted. I do know my score was not great but not poor. I did not pursue law school. Yesterday’s lecture at the coup hearing made me realize I made the right decision. Liberal law professors would have drove me insane. Yes they were even liberal back then. My professors in political science were also liberal. They had arrogant personalities. If you disagreed you were the one wrong, another words they were always right.
I was in college during the Nixon Watergate era. I had one class in which that is pretty much all we discussed was Nixon and Watergate, day after day. I was quiet most of the times, it was obvious there wasn’t a lot of love for Nixon in this class, especially from our professor. She hated Nixon. The class seemed to follow along with her wherever she may go. I liked Nixon, so I kept my mouth shut. I went to Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, MO. A very conservative area, except for those Political Science classes. I seemed to be the only one that did, I didn’t need to feel like i was taking part in a gang beating. I already felt it. My instructor wasn’t a law professor, but she carried the same arrogance as these law professors we saw yesterday.
Political Science is a weird field, they preach on the past but mix in present day ideas, political thought…….which is highly scattered and comes from scattered brains, who think they are just thinking out of the box.
Yesterday was interesting though, these law professors lectured us on the constitution and our founding fathers. They lectured us on what they meant when they created our Constitution, each article, each that came up anyway. So lectured us on what it meant, what the founding fathers were thinking and how the Constitution applied to today and especially that items were thought out to meet today’s issues in particular. So according to 3 of the 4 professors Donald Trump was the exact president the founding father’s addressed (had in mind) when the created our Constitution. They were protecting us from a Donald Trump (according to these 3 geniuses). What is interesting, these professors constantly criticize our constitution. If given the right, they would throw it out the window and re-write it or abolish it. Then they would just make their own laws. Liberal law professors are not the most democratic group around. They are hang out in our colleges and universities and poison our kids with extreme liberalism. Prof. Pamela S. Karlan is the poster child of a liberal law professor. No doubt about that. She is frightening. Do you really want to go to law school?
Most truthful think Nixon may have ever said! (Believe a corrupt/false MSM)
Behind our back and under our nose has become before our eyes and in plain sight. The arrogant corrupt of government officials, elected and appointed, don’t care what We the People think or know! Corruption investigates its own corrupt, falsely and pretentious. They, the elite establishment from both sides, are comfortable that nothing will come from holding one another accountable……it’s mostly an act. Its more than corruption it’s evil. The few that are good….are over matched, scrutinized. If you aren’t bad…..you’re outnumbered.
The most unlawful are the lawmakers. We are being scammed and socially raped as a free society everyday. You (we) put them there.
Mark Levin makes a strong case or argument that Obama ordered or in the least knew about wiretapping Trump Tower during the 2016 Campaign. I am not saying one way or the other, just yet, that the Donald’s claim of being spied on by Obama is true. That said is it impossible? Absolutely not! Is it beyond Obama to use government agencies to do his “possible” dirty work. NO! He is that arrogant and believes he is above the law. However, that said, it would be reckless to use gov agencies……someone sooner or later with any kind of conscience would squeal like a burning pig.
Stay tuned to this sequel as more is surely to be released. As of now, the jury is still out. Nothing should surprise you. Nixon’s Watergate started out with mere accusations as well. Look how that ended! In corrupt Washington D.C. anything is possible.
Liberal Democrats have a very short memory. No…….this is how they roll. Over-looking a corrupt liar, traitor makes you a corrupt liar and traitor. Don’t let the blood on Hillary’s hands rub off on you!
