IF I WERE DONALD TRUMP

If I were Donald Trump and I were running for president of the United States, I would seriously consider doing a few things a little differently.

Recognize the fact that a lot of people dislike me, hate me for a number of reasons:   Arrogance being number one.   This covers many of the other problems I would be facing.   People dislike people who flaunt their wealth, that is a part of being arrogant.    Many hate me because I am rich.   I am also a know it all, people really dislike that.   I probably should not have said “I am the only one that can fix it” on the illegal alien issue, that was arrogance and knowing it all wrapped up into one character package.

I don’t get it though, Barack Obama, he is arrogant……but he got elected twice.    He often says things that are ridiculously outrageous, especially about Islam.  Oh man, I haven’t really even gone there yet, except that I would allow our military to go in and annihilate ISIS. Then there is Hillary, wow, the queen of arrogance.   Many dislike, even hate her, but, how is she the front-runner?  Takes bribes for favors as Secretary of State, probably still paying off those promises, and rich…….check out those dollars donated to the Hillary, Bill and Chelsea Foundation.   Hey, I don’t owe any foreign country a damn thing and I didn’t even know Vince Foster.   You know the dead Hillary partner that committed suicide by shooting himself in the back of the head.  I’ve had some enemies along my way, but I’ve never had any killed, or driven anyone to suicide.   I don’t even have a book of friends or associates that have committed suicide like those Clinton’s

What really separates me from people like Hillary and the other candidates is, I say what I think, what I believe to be right.   People seem to have a problem with my confidence level, so I come across arrogant.   Its okay if everyone else is that way, why doesn’t it work for me?   I thought arrogance, I mean confidence was a requirement to be a candidate.  Why are people still not taking me serious as a candidate?

Many of the things I am saying I know people are sitting around their kitchen table saying and thinking the same.   Maybe I am taking it to an extreme, and people don’t like that. Maybe I should learn to tone it down.   Is it possible I can give the same message but in a more acceptable way?   Is there a better way to say the Mexicans are coming across the border raping our women?   I could have said, our system of dealing and not dealing with illegals, especially felons who are dangerous to society needs to be dealt with.   A man who has been deported 5 times to Mexico killed a lady in California last week.   That could have been prevented, we must be strict with those that have broken our laws, illegals, legal immigrants and natural citizens that have committed crimes.   Our judicial system is a mess.  Yes our borders must be tighter.   We can build a wall, but I wouldn’t count on Mexicans paying for the construction.

Where do I start?   I have a campaign manager, I even have an advisor.  That is a big step for someone who doesn’t take direction from anyone.   Okay, so it would be a good idea to have someone screen and edit my speeches.   I can still stick with my principles and ideas on what is best for this country, just say it in a more reasonable and acceptable manner…………..with a little guidance.

I’d still be the greatest job creator as President.    Would that be okay?

JESUS AND THE PATH BACK HOME

I am a Christian, was raised Protestant and converted to Catholicism on my own, no one led me there.  I am not a preacher or teacher of the Bible or of Jesus.   I believe strongly in both.  With all that is going on in the world, a question that constantly comes up or to mind  “What would Jesus do?”  We ask that for our own guidance when we are uncertain or pulled in multiple directions with no easy answer and maybe lost for solutions and worried what the future holds.

There is no burning bush talking to me.   I may feel Jesus presence, but He is not visibly sitting at my table answering my many questions.  He would probably tell me “He has already given us the answers.”

Children from Mexico, South and Central America have been migrating here by the thousands.  Its been frequently written of all the problems they bring with them, there is no need to repeat it here; by now you’ve heard it all.

They are children.  I am not talking about the teenage gangs here.   That is another article.   I am concerned about the children that have been sent here by their families back home.  The children that are lost, ill, hungry, tired, scared and homeless because they may have been forced our way.

Americans, the most generous of people.  No nation gives more than we do.  The people of our nation do not want to see children suffer, but how much can we take.   We have problems of our own.  We can not always be the answer for the world.

So, what would Jesus do?  I believe He would expect us to take care of our family first.  How can we take care of others, when we struggle.   We have jobless, homeless, sick and hungry that need help.   We place, excuse the word but, outsiders before our own?

The children are at the border and yes they must be dealt with.   We should do what we can.  Would Jesus ask them, why did you leave, abandon your families?  Would he heal them, cloth them and give them food?  When they were rested, would He show them the path back home?

BORDER WALLS

A blogger friend living along the Mexican border recently ask me, why we have a wall on the southern but not the northern border?   I did not have an immediate response, and have yet to answer until now.

Border walls and illegal immigration go together like soup and a sandwich.    Can you be opposed to the existence of the wall and at the same time favor enforcing immigration laws?    I do believe in enforcing laws against illegals.   I am not opposed to immigration, done lawfully.   I do not want criminal gangs walking across the border into the U.S.    Its difficult avoiding contradictory comments or opinions, even a having it both ways attitude, but I will try.

I don’t like the wall(s), I don’t know anyone that really does, other than for its purpose.   The wall certainly doesn’t add any landscaping beauty, they are ugly.

Just the sight of the wall is symbolic, with a different meaning from each side, on one it is a keep out sign on the other some security.  Does the wall represent the character of those it is meant to keep out or those it is meant to protect, or both?   It may be a double-edged sword.

The wall does without saying, keep most of those that would like to enter the U.S. illegally……. out, apparently until now.    What the walls don’t do is solve our differences.    Not only does the existence of the wall further divide the U.S. from Mexico and the rest of South America, they now create division among ourselves.   We are a  divided nation, especially when it comes to immigration.   The division is only growing wider.

There is no point bringing up the in a perfect world scenario, I’ll leave that for my dreams.   There will always be undesirables we want to keep out, not have to deal with.   I don’t have all the answers for the ideal situation………….no need for the wall.   If people didn’t break the laws, there would be no need for a wall.    I was going to keep the perfect world scenario out, but I also said I would try not to double talk; its difficult.  It’s a difficult problem.    I also have avoided answering why there is no northern wall.

I guess Canada could have built a wall when Americans of draft age were fleeing north to avoid Vietnam in protest of the war and the draft.   I can’t put this on Canada though, they too are having immigration issues but not as grave as the U.S.    I haven’t heard of much interest in South Americans wanting to migrate to Canada.

So, why a southern wall and no northern?   I’m not researching this on Google, this wasn’t meant to be answered that way, its more about getting a feel for the attitude and personality of a nation type of question.    It is a good question and to be honest, not one I had thought of until my new friend presented it to me.   The simple answer would be, I’m not in charge of that, so I don’t know.   He has me thinking, searching for an answer.

It is a difficult question to answer, even possibly without offending someone.   Maybe history plays a part…….our history with Mexico….wounds are passed on through generations, trusts that are lost may never be regained.  Do we stereotype a certain people and remain prejudice?  I’m still searching here……..do we just say our doors have been open to you long enough, we can’t take anymore and a wall slams the door in our Southern neighbor’s face.   While up north, there is no wall.    Canadians can enter the U.S. and pretty much go unnoticed, therefore free from stereotyping.   In my life time I have witnessed very little poor relations with Canada.   Also, you do not see a large wave of Canadians coming to America to stay, like we do the Southern border.    To most Americans I would say the North does not appear to be a social threat as does the South; and I know that is stereotyping to certain degree maybe more than I want to admit.  I also know, Mexican gangs and the cartel shooting at border agents, doesn’t help.

I have tried to answer, from just what I know; maybe I am learning I don’t know very much about our borders, the North and South.   Hopefully, someday a better solution comes our way.

MOM SAID GO STAY WITH UNCLE SAM

Immigration Obama

Many are protesting against deporting relatives back to Mexico or Central and South America, not to breakup families.    If the immigrants crossing now are coming without documentation, how do we know who is related to who; and that they only claim to be related to stay?  Anyone can claim to be related to any other.  Seriously, how would we know for sure?

Just a question to ponder.

COUNTER PROTESTERS MAY GET MORE THAN THEY WANT

Featured Image -- 410

Murrietta counter protesters, not so bright.  They would like to see the cartel come across the border and blast the racists whites.   First of all morons, if you think you are going to come into this country and intimidate our people with threatening remarks it could prove to be very dangerous and costly for you and your precious cartel.    Americans are on the edge as it is and are beginning to take things into their own hands, as they have grown impatient with the government.

There is a legal system of entering this country, and you are not here legally, therefore you have no rights and that includes a counter protest.  Playing the race card?  Do your homework, not all those protesting against illegal immigration are white.

The 3 punks in the photo above are wearing some sort of uniform with their nation’s flag on one shirt.  Really?  Wanting to come to our nation but you wear the flag of a nation that is so terrible you want to leave or are you only here to support those children that are coming across.  I noticed as well, one of you hides his face, much like a terrorist.  Are you also a member of the cartel,  the uniform dress indicates you may be?   You see, you are exactly what the good people of Murrietta are trying to keep out of their community.

I get it there is a humanitarian issue here.  The influx of immigrants is a difficult situation, especially with the children.  They are coming here, because their families they leave behind know Americans are the most compassionate and  the quality of life here is better than anywhere.  However, we must protect our borders and the interior of this nation.

Disease is spreading at the border, some of which we have not been vaccinated against in this country.   The diseases will continue to spread; which brings up another problem, they will receive healthcare, free healthcare for them.    Are the illegal immigrants going to get fined for not having an insurance policy under Obamacare?  Nope, we the taxpaying citizens of this country will be expected to flip the bill.

Also, those that have come here from Central America and Mexico have left a trail of where they have trashed the land.  Don’t believe me, go on the internet and see for yourself, plenty of pictures; a preview of whats to come for this country.

It’s too much for even the most generous nation to take on.  We are talking about protecting our nation for the future of our children and grandchildren.   I know we are a nation of immigrants, but there are limits……we have met our limit.    We don’t need to always be politically correct.
