HUSH PUPPIES AT DRUNKEN JACKS

 

The other day I gave a recommendation if you were ever in Hendersonville, North Carolina to visit Tequilas Bar & Grill.

I am not attempting to become a food critic, but, when in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina if you like Hush Puppies………..Drunken Jacks in Murrells Inlet (just a few miles south of Myrtle Beach) is the place to go.  The food is wonderful, we enjoyed a plate sampler with steak, crab cakes, shrimp and more.   I ordered a dish of hush puppies, OMG, they were without any doubt, the best hush puppies I have ever had, ever tasted.    They were a little sweet, which gave it great flavor.  We raved about these puppies.  We bought an order to take back to the resort hotel, the girl doubled up on the order and gave us a cup of the butter spread for the puppies.   The butter is delicious.   These Drunken Jack hush puppies have to be the best on the planet.  For $4.00 per serving, about 12 pups, you can not go wrong, worth every penny.
