The older I get, the less important that seems to matter. Is it because I am more comfortable in my own skin? Or, is it I don’t feel like I need to impress anyone to gain something back? Like, a job, friendship, no need to court anyone!
Truth is, putting a dress shirt and tie on never was really comfortable. While there was a time, and occasionally still could be, it was out of necessity; business and sometimes showing that you were okay at putting a little effort in.
The older I get and I turn 65 in August; its just about being comfortable. Not sloppy, comfortable. Clean and comfortable, throw in neat. You still look good!
