Courage is a rare commodity in today’s woke snowflake world. It is thrilling and inspiring to see the President of Ukraine standing up to the Russian invaders. Ukraine is an independent sovereign nation. When the U.S. offered to help him escape to safety, President Zelenskyy refused, rather declaring: “The fight is here, I need ammunition, not a ride.” Nothing exemplifies courage more than his stand. Contrast it to the leader of Afghanistan who immediately fled with suitcases of cash last year. I pray for courageous and righteous leaders to rise up around the world in these perilous times. Pure evil is rampaging over the earth, but Yehovah God knows those who are His. Stand for His righteous purpose!

Putin sent messages to the Ukrainian military to overthrow their government. He told them also to lay down their arms and go home.

Joe Biden/the U.S. offered Ukrainian President Zelenskyy free passage out of the Ukraine. That would put Zelenskyy on the run, abandoning his country, essentially leaving them without leadership, giving in to Putin. Putin’s suggestion was to have the Ukrainian military forcefully take their president. Biden’s offer was asking Zelenskyy if he wanted to give it up, go peacefully. The Putin suggestion and Biden’s offer essentially give the same outcome Putin is looking for! Thank you Joe!

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is remaining in Kyiv as the city remains under intense assault from Russian forces desperately trying to take the capital city. As we’ve reported, Vladimir Putin’s forces have suffered heavy losses over the first few days of the invasion, running into resistance they clearly didn’t expect.

On Friday, Russia offered terms of peace that amounted to a full capitulation, demanding neutrality, ceding of territory, and disarmament. The Ukrainians did not immediately respond, indicating they might be willing to negotiate. That appears to no longer be the case, though, with Zelensky telling the Russians to pound sand.

If the Ukrainians have the resolve to continue fighting, and there’s every reason to believe they do, this is the right move. Putin’s terms were laughably one-sided, and to go to the negotiating table so quickly would itself represent a major concession by Ukraine. This invasion is…
