ARLIN REPORT THOUGHT OF THE DAY: TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES

Truth or Consequences
noun

1.

a game in which each contestant is asked a question and upon failure to answer or give a correct answer receives a penalty imposed by the leader or the group.
Rules of this game should be applied to Congress.  All those who testify before Congress and all their “fake” investigative committees should be subject to the rule above.  Taking the 5th doesn’t allow you to totally walk free.   Remaining silent, should carry some consequences, rather just an assumption you are guilty or covering up.   Boot them from their offices they hold!
Perjurers must suffer consequences, there is no accountability.
Investigative Committees in Congress have become stage shows, little to no consequences.  Too many receive immunity…………   It has become an appeasement to the public view.   Clubs do not punish club members; the elite establishment protecting one another.

ARLIN REPORT THOUGHT OF THE DAY: PERSPECTIVE

I’ve been silent for a few days, since this past Saturday evening.   Saturday, April 1st at 10:00 PM Central Time, my mother after years of poor health and defying death, grew too tired to carry on……very peacefully  took her final breath on this earth and took the hand of Jesus to His big house.   Her entire family by her side when God took her Home.

In a screwed up world, the last few days have put things back in perspective, for me anyway, that nothing really matters like love of family and the peace in a way only God can give.

My mother donated her body to Science Care, Inc. for medical research.   She knew, if there was anything that could be learned to help others, her’s was a perfect match for research.  A beautiful, thoughtful gift to this world, of which I am proud.

FROM REUTERS ON CANDACE CLAIBORNE

Claiborne is accused of repeatedly contacting two Chinese intelligence agents, who “provided tens of thousands of dollars in gifts and benefits to Claiborne and her family over five years.”

The press release said the agents provided Claiborne with gifts, including “cash wired to Claiborne’s USAA account, an Apple iPhone and laptop computer, Chinese New Year’s gifts, meals, international travel and vacations, tuition at a Chinese fashion school, a fully furnished apartment, and a monthly stipend.”

Claiborne also wrote in her journal that she could “Generate 20k in 1 year” if she continued working with one of the agents, an affidavit says.

Claiborne was arrested Tuesday and appeared in a D.C.-based district court on Wednesday afternoon.

Claiborne has worked with the State Department in various posts since 1999, “including embassies and consulates in Baghdad, Iraq, Khartoum, Sudan, and Beijing and Shanghai, China.”

The FBI’s investigation of Claiborne included surveillance done under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, Reuters said in a tweet, citing a federal prosecutor.

Claiborne could face a maximum of 25 years in prison.
